Owners near retirement, or thinking about selling or an ownership change, are a great fit. Their records are an asset they can license without selling the firm.

Who can refer a firm?
Anyone. Most referrals come from people who work with AEC firms: staff, advisors, accountants, attorneys, brokers and other industry contacts.
Does the firm pay more because of my referral?
No. The firm’s fee does not change. Archeon pays your share out of its own fee.
What if Archeon is already talking to the firm?
A firm already in active conversation with Archeon does not qualify. The first qualified referral of a firm is the one that counts.
When and how am I paid?
Within 30 days of Archeon receiving its fee from the firm. If you are a US payee, send a W-9 before payment.

Referral terms.
Version 2026-10. These terms apply to every referral you send through this page.
- Referral fee. Archeon pays you 10% of the fees Archeon actually receives from the referred firm for licenses the firm signs within 24 months of the referral.
- First referral wins. The first qualified referral of a firm is the one that counts. Later referrals of the same firm do not qualify.
- Active conversations. A firm already in active conversation with Archeon does not qualify.
- Payment. Archeon pays within 30 days of receiving its fee from the firm.
- Tax form. A US payee provides a completed W-9 before payment.
- Disclosure. Archeon discloses the referral arrangement to the firm.
- Right to decline. Archeon can decline any referral.
- Firms only. Archeon pays nothing for referring buyers.
- Honest conduct. You do not misrepresent Archeon, and you do not promise the firm any outcome, price or timeline.
